15:00 - Arrival and transfer in the river to Mini Cruise. Briefing and acommodation. Navigation aboard Mini Cruise to reach Gamitana. Visit to the Island of the Monkeys before boarding the Mini Cruise |

16:30 - Arrival at Gamitana stream. Depending on weather conditions it could be possible a brief visit to Gamitana Island |

19:00 - Safari of caymans with flashlights aboard canoe. |

GAMITANA
It is a deep and narrow stream (quebrada) located in the Madre de Dios river where can be practiced canoeing and kayak. In this stream can be fished fishes without scales such as bagre, zungaro, doncella, mota and fishes with scales such as gamitana, paco, sabalo, palometa y carachama. Also in this place there are big anancondas, the black cayman and dwarf cayman. In front is the Gamitana Island wich is flooded in rainy season and is used by animals to cross the Madre de Dios river, in this island can be found the carpenter bird and its nests. Within the flora of this place can be found La sangre de grado - Dragon Blood - used as healing injuries skin, ulcers stomach, inflammations and cancer. The guaba - Ice cream bean (Inga edulis Mart) is used for treating skin tumors and vermicide. The cat's claw is used as anti-tumor, anti diabetes, anti-inflammatory and anti artritics. The cat's claw( Uncaria Tormentosa DC) is used as anti-tumor, anti-diabetic, anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory.
ROLIN SANDOVAL - LAGO SANDOVAL
Located in Madre de Dios river here the tourists trek trough the trail for 50 minutes approximately to reach the entrance the Sandoval Lake at the Tambopata National Reserve. The lake is visited in canoes with paddles. The lake is visited in canoes with paddles where can be appreciate its wonderful landscape; and the giant otters, piranhas and the paiche , the greatest fish with scales of rivers and lakes all year long. Likewise can be seen birds suc as cormoran, ducks, herons, parrots and its nests, also can be found bats as little as butterflies; and monkeys.
ISLAND OF THE MONKEYS
We will visit this picturesque island located in the Madre de Dios River 500 meters from away our Tourist Center, it is a rescue island of several monkeys species that inhabited it.
